I'm trying to grow 3 inches- will doing all of this work? Please help!?
i’m 16 years old, i got my period on my thirteenth birthday so i’m like past puberty i guess. i’m 5’4" and a half. i want to be 5’7" or 5’8". My mom is 5’9" and my dad is 5’10".
i will be doing:
- sleeping more. (i get 6 hours now, i’ll get 8 instead)
- drink more water and milk (i get dehydrated alot)
- stretch alot and do yoga, have better posture
- do the inversion table thing every day, i heard that helps alot
- take vitamins cause i never do
will doing all this help me grow?? or am i done growing? ![]()

As long as you don’t do anything to actually stunt your growth, your height is determined by your genetics.
I think your pretty much done growing, you might grow an inch or two in the next year but girls generally stop growing pretty soon. However still do that stuff, it may not make you taller but it will keep you healthier.
It will help, just not a lot
Healthy Sleeping time for growing teens is around 10 hours +
Drink more water, milk doesn’t really help.
I suggest workouts instead of Yoga, especially Cardiovascular ones
I dont know about the inversion table
Take your vitamins and eat alot, you wont grow fat if u excercise, and you wont grow tall if u dont excercise AND eat the proper nutrients your body needs to grow.
it probably won’t help but it definitely won’t hurt. being 16 and 5’4”, i would say you would be incredibly lucky if you ever got to 5’6”
