Should I sue or just a write a letter of complaint, and product improvement recommendation…?
I was injured on an Inversion Table that came apart while I was preparing to use it. I had to get x-rays… the seat of my jeans got caught, punctured and ripped (5" rip) on a bracket. I had severe pain in my tail-bone, my ‘gluteus-maximus’ was badly bruised with a small puncture mark. I spent two weeks in great discomfort then I received an injection for pain it has been better but I am still, after 3 weeks, feeling the bruised tail-bone.
I can now clearly see where some product improvements should be made…
Do I have a case…or should I just simply contact the company and send them the pictures of my ripped clothes and maybe even a picture of my bruised….but,…then again, that might be rude.

If the inversion table required assembly, the manufacturer could easily claim you didn’t assemble it properly. You would need to show a design flaw is responsible for the table coming apart.
I would write a letter to the manufacturer that includes a photograph of the table showing where it came apart. I’d also include an explanation of what happened, as well as a description of your injuries. It wouldn’t hurt to also send a photo of your ripped clothes and a letter from your doctor.
Sending a letter will help the manufacturer determine if an improvement is necessary. You may also be able to recoup your out-of-pocket expenses.
You could include the medical bills and diagnosis instead of the picture. Or you could crop the picture to show the bruise and little else. Or you could send me the picture

You should sue as well as filing a formal complaint. It would help the maker of the product to improve on their design, not to mention keep others from getting injured aswell.
